The Sky is Falling!

Midnight on Monday was a very interesting time to say the least. I was in a dead sleep from not sleeping the few nights before and I heard a loud bang. I just figured that it was a limb hitting the top of my building. So I just close my eyes to try to go back to sleep, not thinking anything about it. I turn my head to see some white stuff all over my floor. I have swept the night before so I knew that I was not supposed to be anything on my floor. I just happened to look up and see about a 4 foot long limb poking through my ceiling! I start to freak out a little bit thinking that what if question running through my brain before I try to call Jessica about six times with no answer. I finally give up on her and call Michael. He comes down here in wakes everyone up so him and Derek can put a tarp over my building so in case it rains nothing will get wet. There's obviously nothing they can do until morning because it is pitch black outside.
The next day I call my father and ask him to please come repair the hole in my roof and he does but it leaks so he has to come back the next day and repair it once again. Needless to say we all had a root awakening that night!!!

Today I went to the vet in Monroe to get one of my sugar gliders neutered before he can find a new home. We had a pretty good trip besides the back of the ramp not wanting to close all the way I was told that we would most likely have to take it to a Toyota place to get it fixed. I have also not heard from the people in New Orleans about my surgery so I called them today and of course the lady that schedules the surgery was not there. I have been trying to get a hold of her for the past week and a half and just can't seem to catch her available. I will continue to try until I get a date for my surgery. I am so ready that it is not funny. My father is working on getting all of his walls up in his house so hopefully soon he will have this house finished and I will be able to move in the mine.
