It’s been a hard week for me! Wednesday of last week I went and had took number 13 extracted, which is the same tooth just the other side that I had cut out in July, and it’s given me hell! At first I thought that it would be a similar situation as the last time, but oh boy I was wrong! The dentist didn’t give me gas or any sedation just the numbing medicine which I have to admit will never happen again! He had a lot of problems getting the tooth out of there because of the way the roots were into my jaw bone and plus there was an abscess on the end of the roots of the tooth. I was not home to the hill but I still felt just about everything he was doing with a lot of pressure and pain. I don’t good for the first four hours afterwords because I was still pretty numb from the injections he gave me. After they started wearing off I was in a great amount of pain and no medicine is helping me. I was taking 800 mg of ibuprofen every four hours as well as Tylenol and nothing with helping. I finally got a hold of the dentist and they gave me some hydrocodone to try to help with the pain. At first it did not help very much. But after I started taking it with one Tylenol it started helping a little bit. At first we thought maybe I had dry socket which is a condition when you’re going don’t bleed I’m not sure exactly what causes it but then we call the doctor once more and he said it was most likely infected. I started running a low-grade fever as well so I’ve been put on anabiotic‘s to help with the infection.
A lot of the past week I have been asleep or in a great amount of pain so I haven’t really been able to do a lot which most people know isn’t like me. I am finally starting to feel better even though I am still in a little bit of pain. I will go back November 2 to have all four of my wisdom teeth taken out. I am not sure that I am going to be able to deal with the pain of having four of my teeth cut out because this one tooth hurt me so bad. I do know that I will be getting somethingBesides hydrocodone this time because it didn’t work so well for me last time.
I only have three or four assignments left in my web design certificate program which is very exciting but I am still going to school for graphic design degree I’ve just been doing the fun stuff first before taking classes like color theory and writing composition. Those are all the boring classes. I only have eight weeks left until my bladder surgery which is very exciting news I am so ready to have this catheter taken out for good.
